Director
Dr. Mark Nabholz
Prior to joining the staff at Trinity Presbyterian Church (Montgomery) in 2021, Dr. Mark Nabholz was Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Mississippi College, where he conducted the nationally recognized MC Singers, taught conducting and choral literature, and coordinated the MM in choral conducting degree program. He concurrently served as Artistic Director of the 120-voice Mississippi Chorus, a civic organization that maintains a busy performance schedule of major choral works with orchestra. He holds degrees from Houghton College (BMus) the Eastman School (MMus), and USC-Columbia (DMA).
Dr. Nabholz has served on state ACDA boards in South Carolina and Mississippi, and presently is the coordinator for Community Choirs on the Alabama ACDA.

Vocal Coach
Mrs. Fran Nabholz
Mrs. Nabholz regularly helps with MCYC rehearsals. She holds undergraduate (BMus) and graduate (MMus) degrees in vocal performance from Houghton College (NY) and Converse College (SC), and teaches voice at Huntingdon College. She has previously taught at Brevard College (NC), Augusta University (GA), and Mississippi College. She also maintains a private voice studio in their Montgomery home.
The Nabholzes have four grown children and four grandchildren.

Collaborative Pianist
Mr. George Gichero
A native of Kenya, George Gichero is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Music Education at Alabama State University. In addition to his skills as a pianist and oboist, George has served as a Choral Scholar in the music ministry of Trinity Presbyterian Church since 2024.
